Read all reviews on Google - “HIGHLY RECOMMENDED”
I moved from Brookline to New Hampshire and I highly recommend Stairhopper. They were on time, professional, polite, and fast. They came prepared with all supplies and were accommodating when I added last minute items to the inventory. And they're much more reasonably priced than other companies I considered. Shoutout to David, Omar, and Isaac for being our interstate team.
- “FIVE STARS”
Had to move very last minute and Stairhopper Movers was able to schedule me a full packing and move service. The crew arrived during the allotted time window and got straight to work. They packed and moved my entire 1 bedroom apartment in about 6 hours. Made a stressful situation a lot easier. Update: used Stairhopper again for another move and they were just as friendly and efficient!
- “THE BEST”
Used them for a local move this summer. Compared to several other local companies, they had the best rates and the easiest booking process and website. The crew arrived right at the beginning of the time window I was given. Super quick and professional move. Nothing broke, they wrapped all my furniture safely and efficiently. Would highly recommend.
- “2ND TIME USING STAIRHOPPERS”
If you are looking for moving or packing services, you absolutely need to hire Stairhoppers. This is the second time we used them and they were incredible both times. The team members are incredible, from the person taking the reservation over the phone to the guys who physically move everything. The price is also way more competitive than other companies we have used.
- “THE BEST”
This year, I moved from New York to Boston. I decided to hire movers for the first time, and WOW am I glad I did. I can't say enough about how excellent Stairhopper movers is. Their customer service is absolutely unmatched. A representative called me within 30 minutes of submitting the form, and the movers (Selvin and Orlando) showed up right on time, professional, friendly, and EXTREMELY FAST AND STRONG. I can't recommend this company enough.
- “EXCELLENT”
We used Stairhoppers for a move from Boston to Virginia and couldn't be more happy with the experience. In addition to the flat rate for the move and delivery, we also used them for packing and unpacking services. The moving day happened to be during a Nor'Easter and the crew was very careful to wrap all of our items with extra blankets so nothing got wet. Overall I highly recommend Stairhoppers.
- “HIGHLY RECOMMENDED”
Stairhoppers helped us move from Boston to CT - they were incredibly efficient and took great care of our belongings throughout the move. They were also very reasonably priced. The Stairhoppers crew made our move so easy - we barely had to lift a finger. Highly recommend. Thank you Stairhoppers!
- “WOULD RECOMMEND”
Hired for an interstate move during one of the busiest weekends in the area for movers, and the price was reasonable and a good value for services rendered. Friendly movers, efficient loading, easy logistical process from start to finish, very responsive to questions, lots of helpful confirmation messages, and took good care of items.

Can I get an estimate for my move?
Yes, and it’s free with no obligation to book with us. Call us at (857) 928-0876 or fill out the quick form at stairhoppers.com/free-estimate and we’ll put together a quote for you. Our estimates are all-inclusive, meaning we don’t tack on surprise charges for stairs, fuel, mileage, furniture preparation, or packing materials. What we quote is what you pay.
Do you have availability on my preferred moving date?
The fastest way to check availability is to call us at (857) 928-0876 or request a free quote online. If you’re moving between May and September, weekends and the first and last week of each month book up first, so we recommend contacting us 4 to 5 weeks in advance. The earlier you book, the better your chances of securing your preferred moving date and time.
How do I schedule or book a move?
Booking your move is simple. Contact us by phone or complete our online quote form, and we’ll prepare a detailed estimate. Once you approve the quote, we’ll reserve your moving date with a deposit and assign you a dedicated move coordinator who will assist you every step of the way until moving day.
What information do you need to provide a quote?
The more details you provide, the more accurate your estimate will be. Helpful information includes:
- Your pickup and delivery addresses (or ZIP codes)
- The size of your home or a general inventory of items
- Your preferred moving date
- Access details such as stairs, elevators, or long walking distances
- Whether you require packing services
- Any specialty items like pianos, safes, or gym equipment
Don’t worry if you don’t have all the details yet. Just give us a call and we’ll help you through the process.
Are there any items you won't move?
For everyone’s safety, there are a few items we cannot transport. These include hazardous materials such as flammable liquids, propane tanks, explosives, corrosives, and chemicals, as well as perishable food, live plants, and pets. We also recommend personally transporting irreplaceable valuables such as jewelry, important documents, family photos, keys, and other sentimental items. If you’re unsure whether a particular item can be moved, simply ask your move coordinator.
Should I remove the contents of my drawers before the move?
Yes. We recommend removing the contents of all drawers and packing them into moving boxes. Empty drawers help reduce the weight placed on the furniture, prevent drawers from opening during transport, and minimize the risk of damage. Taking this extra step helps ensure your furniture arrives safely.

Move Starts Here.
